Essential Oils for Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder characterized by throbbing, pulling, creeping, or other unpleasant sensations in the legs and an uncontrollable, and sometimes overwhelming, urge to move them. Symptoms mostly occur at night when a person is relaxing or at rest and can increase in severity during the night. Moving the legs relieves the discomfort. This can range from slightly uncomfortable to very painful. One difficult aspect of the condition is that lying down and trying to relax activates the symptoms. Most people with RLS have difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. Left untreated, the condition causes exhaustion and daytime fatigue. Most people who struggle with RLS find that it can dominate a large part of their life because of the pain, the fatigue and the depression that comes with it. Treatments for RLS are mostly trying to deal with the symptoms.Lifestyle changes and activities such as cutting out caffeine, alcohol and tobacco are suggested. Often good supplements, especially with iron will be suggested. Things like exercise, a warm bath or massage will also be suggested. This blend of essential oils has been very effective at helping people who have restless leg syndrome. I would also suggest using Vitality Supplements.
