So far this week, on the blog, we talked about Insulin Resistance, prediabetes and exercise. Last week we talked about inflammation and autoimmune disorders. Today, I want to tie everything back in and how to combine Nutrition, Fitness, Essential Oils and Supplements to achieve natural health and wellness. I am devoted to bringing you ideas and information to help you live the best life possible and I’m excited about the information I have to share with you today!
Let’s start with the food we put in our body. The nice thing about all that we’ve been talking about over the past two weeks is that there is great overlap. Whether we are wanting to detox the liver, prevent diabetes, treat inflammation in the body, the diet is pretty similar. And it is pretty basic. Eat mostly a diet of real food. Get rid of the junk and fill your meals with fresh fruit and vegetables, eat lean protein (and plenty of fish), lots of water, whole grains, etc.

. Combining this with walking and some basic strength training is a great way to burn fat, release toxins, lower blood sugar, and reduce inflammation.
There are so many great oils that will help with these processes. Coriander is known to stimulate the production of insulin in the body which will help to lower blood sugar. Lemon is great for flushing toxins from the body, especially the liver. A drop or two added to water throughout the day is a great way to keep everything flushing.
