This month we have talked a lot about skin care and how to nourish your skin, protect your skin and heal your skin. Today, I want to talk about creating a spa experience in your own home. For many of us, finding the time and maybe the money to spend the day at the spa isn’t always feasible. Plus, I have also found that as well-intentioned as most spa’s are, they don’t always use the best products as far as natural and safe for our skin. When you create a spa at home, you can spoil yourself anytime and ensure that you are getting the very best quality products for your skin.
Start with a detox bath

After getting in a good soak, as the water is draining from the tub, take a few minutes to scrub your body down with a good salt or sugar scrub. You can make your own using your favorite essential oils and other ingredients from your pantry, using some of these yummy skin care recipes

Restore the Moisture
